How we would work with you:
When you establish a relationship with MackHouse, our top priority is identifying and implementing the right strategy for you while limiting risk. In doing so, our services evolve in four stages: a detailed discussion about your goals and objectives, formulation of a plan of action, implementation of the plan of action and lastly, the ongoing task of ensuring the best possible management and monitoring of your wealth.
STAGE ONE
STAGE TWO
STAGE THREE
STAGE FOUR
Defining and understanding your investment objectives.
There are many factors which will influence this decision: your expectation of the return on your investments, your time horizon, and your level of risk tolerance.
Devising a plan.
In this stage we will undertake a thorough review of your current investment strategy and financial situation. From our understanding of your objectives and our analysis of your situation, we will present you with a plan of action.
Implementing the plan of action.
Once the investment objectives and new plan have been defined, we will see that the strategy is executed. This may include a new asset allocation or the restructuring of your investments in a more tax-efficient way.
Monitoring and Reporting.
Once the plan has been implemented, we will monitor the performance of your investments and report to you on a regular basis. We will adjust as your expectations and aspirations evolve in the future.
Investment Management
From current income generation to maximizing capital growth, we can help you create an investment strategy to meet your needs for the rest of your life.
Asset Allocation
The first discipline in our management style is to develop an asset allocation that reflects the investment plan of the client and reflects our interpretation of the overall markets. After developing the asset allocation, we then address the task of selecting the securities for each portfolio.
Equities
The second discipline in our management style is the diversification of the equity portion of the portfolio. For the large capitalization portion of the portfolio, we accomplish this by diversifying among individual companies and across major industry sectors.
Our individual equity research is both fundamental and technically oriented. The fundamental analysis is based on the assessment of a stock’s investment return potential by evaluating its dividend and earnings outlook, while the technical analysis is to assess a securities price and volume patterns. The primary emphasis is on the identification of investment ideas that will contribute to superior investment results for our clients. Therefore, total return potential is the central criterion against which the company research results are measured. For mid- and small-capitalization securities, as well as international portions of the portfolio, we will use outside managers with expertise and experience in each area. Here our evaluation criteria not only look at performance, but the tenure of the managers and how well they adhere to their investment style and strategy.
In addition, we establish price targets for every investment up front. Equities are evaluated when those targets are reached; the fundamentals change, or more attractive opportunities are identified.
Fixed Income
The third discipline in our management style is the selection of the debt securities portion of the portfolio. Although we are not an aggressive bond manager, we do employ a management style that attempts to take advantage of the volatility of interest rates and bond prices. We gather information from a variety of sources – the issuer, capital markets analysts, and database and analytical systems – to find securities with the highest possible risk-adjusted return.
In summation, we employ an investment style that places a high premium on the following:
- Identifying market and interest rate trends,
- Investing in highly liquid quality securities,
- And, most importantly, adhering to a disciplined strategy.
Financial Planning
Our financial planning process takes into account the personal and unique financial situation of you and your family over the long-term. The process begins with thoughtful and thorough planning, followed by sound recommendations and approaches based on your situation and life goals. So, as your family grows and its needs change, a successful financial plan can evolve to provide for needs you might face. We’ll take into account aspects of your financial life such as:
- Investment and retirement Planning
- Funding education needs
- Maintaining your lifestyle or affording a new one
- Protecting your family or income
- Creating a legacy
- Business succession
